What kind of work do you do? I am a 2nd year teacher (N. Calif.) and they pay me 45,000 per year. I also have $40,000 in school loans to pay off. I don't know if it was worth it. Will I be able to work enough years before I can't any more? I'll never be able to afford a house.

Steph, my friend is a teacher and she is currently taking night classes to get her Masters. I know its got to be frustrating. Just do a class here and there.See if you are eligable for a student loan. Also, I hear that in a divorce, sometimes the spouse has to pay for the other to go to school.Check into it. It will take a while to get your degree but it will be well worth it in the end. Not to mention you're worth more moola if you have a degree. I'm sure your mom and dad will try and help you and Amanda out if you really get bogged down. I'm rooting for ya!You'll make it!

I wish there was an easy way to have the best of both worlds - it sucks that the jobs that we love are usually the ones we can't afford to have. You should definitely look into school, though. In a few years, you could be doing what you love, only better.

Sorry to hear your printer isn't working, I suck at repairing things so I'm not sure what to tell you there. Looks like your list of pros outweighs the cons on the job list. *hugs*
